Twelve-time Grammy Award winners, the Dave Matthews Band, is partnering with energy companies nationwide this summer to promote environmental stewardship. SMUD, in the Sacramento region, developed the campaign and is launching the initiative in conjunction with the band’s performance at Raley Field on August 25th.

“We are excited to partner with energy companies across the country to help the environment,” said the Dave Matthews Band, “There are some really cool programs offered that have a positive impact on the planet. Our fans will love it.”

The campaign leverages the brand value and social responsibility of the country’s leading touring artist to help influence and engage consumers regarding sustainable lifestyle practices. The partnership amplifies the breadth and depth of environmental programs offered through the energy companies and is designed to increase awareness and activate participation in the portfolio of green programs offered by the utilities.
